Setup Outlook 2007
This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007® to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2007, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial.- Open Outlook 2007 and click on Tools on the Menu bar.

- Find and click on Account Settings

- A new window will pop up (Account Setting window). Under E-mail tab, find and click on New

- Another window will pop up (Add New E-mail Account window). Just check Manually configure server settings or additional server types at the bottom. Click on Next

- Find and opt for Internet E-mail

- Supply all required information:
- User Information:
- Your Name: The name of the e-mail address owner
- E-mail Address: The e-mail address you want to setup
- Server Information:
- Account Type: Click on the drop down arrow and choose POP3
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.alpinewebsites.com
- Outgoing Server: mail.alpinewebsites.com
- Logon Information:
- Username: It should be your e-mail address
- Password: The password for your e-mail address

- User Information:
- Click on More Settings at the bottom right
- Another window will pop up (Internet E-mail Settings).
- Under Outgoing tab, check My outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Go to the Advanced tab, and then change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 8025. Click OK.

- Click Next
- Click Finish
